Any fan of Roald Dahl knows
He was a wizard when it came to prose.
And, although a great story he did tell
He also wrote great verse as well.
Like ‘Revolting Rhymes’ and ‘Rhyme stew’
His stories contained great rhymes to.
The 4 naughty Golden Ticket winners all had
A rhyme that showed us why they were bad.
So many great poems he did create
So I would like to celebrate
These rhymes and I’d also like to say
